What kind of music do you listen to?

Hi there! It is interesting for me to know about musical preferences of site users. What is your favorite music genre, musician or band?

As for me: I like to listen to such guitar virtuoso as Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert. I also like Leo Kottke and Adrian Legg. Sometimes I also listen to "old-school" metal bands, like Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath or AC/DC! As you can see I like guitar sounding very much!  smile

Well I am actually open to any new experience as far as everything I've mentioned above was listened about a thousand times smile.

I actually liked the song you linked to Jim9137! Guys definitely have style!

P.S.: If anybody is interested I think that THIS is best Satriani melody out there.

My tastes tend towards punk and punk related stuff(ala Ministry and such) but also love the really heavy stuff(we used to call it "Grindcore" in the 90s but I am hearing the kids today have necro'ed the old "Death Metal" moniker), 70's(and earlier) R&B/soul/funk, etc. My musical tastes range from Dolly Parton(mostly the stuff she did on "Jolene". A lot of her stuff is crap.) to Entomed and from Sick of it All to some Alanis Morrisette.

Right now I am listening to Sok and the Faggots(local crust-core act), The Them(Seattle punk heavily influenced by the Misfits I think), and a song by Tricky.
